Who are We?

On the 1st July 2001, Sharon Wesley’s Brain was attacked by her own Immune System causing body wide paralysis.

The condition she contracted is called ADEM—Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis.

Although Sharon is lucky to be alive, she still remains severely affected by the onset of this terrible condition. 

5 years on we, Sharons’ family,  have been made aware of a groundbreaking treatment that could help give Sharon her life back  -  Stem Cell Therapy.

This treatment is however, still illegal in the UK and as such we are aiming to raise funds to allow Sharon to access this facility through Advanced Cell Therapeutics based in Rotterdam, Holland.

With the support of Mexborough Community Partnership, we are hoping to raise £15,000 to send Sharon for this amazing therapy.  As such we have many events organised over the coming months with all proceeds going directly to Sharon’s appeal
